Managing Director and Founder

Welcome to Plumbing by Dodson; I’m Nick, the owner and senior engineer. I’m fully qualified (City & Guilds NVQ Level 2), and cut my teeth as a plumber with British Gas (plumbing team) having extensive experience in all areas of domestic plumbing, specialising in 24/7 emergency call out work and maintenance plumbing. Before joining British Gas, and whilst studying at college, I gained valuable practical experience working for an independent construction company as part of their plumbing team, based in Islington, North London principally working on hot water systems, cylinder replacements, and heating systems.
I have an obsession for professionalism and providing exceptional customer service levels, both of which are key aspects of Plumbing by Dodson. We are fully insured, professional, friendly and polite. No job is too small.
In what little spare time I have, my passion is cars, (particularly Mustangs), playing golf and going to the gym.

Senior Engineer

Our Senior Engineer is Jack Alexander, fully qualified (City & Guilds NVQ Level 2). Jack has particular experience of working on heating systems and bathrooms having spent 16 months with K&T Heating working on a wide range of heating systems. He then spent 12 months with British Gas Plumbing undertaking principally emergency call out work. He has also worked with Olli Construction undertaking 24/7 emergency call outs and domestic maintenance work. Before joining Plumbing by Dodson, Jack worked for 8 months undertaking commercial plumbing on large construction sites in London.
Jack has tiling qualifications to compliment his professional plumbing skills.
Outside work, Jack’s interests are music, going to the gym, golf like Nick, and an interest in learning history.

Senior Engineer

Billy McAdam is fully qualified (City & Guilds NVQ Level 2). Billy joined in October 2021 having worked previously on construction sites undertaking first and second stage fits in residential and commercial properties. He is experienced with Under Floor Heating systems.
Billy recently completed his Part P Domestic Electrical Installer qualification
Outside work, Billy is interested in sports, travel and socialising.

Senior Engineer

Connor is in the final stages of completing his professional qualifications (City & Guilds NVQ Level 2). He recently joined the Firm from Dyno Plumbing (British Gas Group) and has experience of domestic maintenance and emergency plumbing.
Outside work, Connor is a big sports and football fan, supporting Arsenal and also playing for local side, Kelvedon. He enjoys socialising with friends and family.

Senior Engineer

Harry is our main drainage enginner and has extensive expericane across all drainage system.
He holds a full jetting licence and specialises in CCTV surveys.
Wether it is a simpe blocked sink or multiple manholes blocked Harry has all the equipment and experience needed to solve your issue
